It was good to know that AskBear was sure Dennis had finally caught up with Zargoid 5 on holiday and presumably filled him in on everything that had been happening.
I tried to imagine the scene. There was Zargoid 5 relaxing on a deck chair, with Dennis sitting on his hand telling him the whole story.

But I didn't have to imagine it for long because just then Zargoid 5 called me on his phone, with full video, and I could see the whole scene for myself.
I even got to wave at Dennis.
"I can't believe George tricked me into going on holiday and tricked you into accidentally selling your mine," Zargoid 5 started, without even saying "Hello" or explaining why he'd had his phone switched off.
I was about to say something about that when he continued.
"Sorry about not saying 'Hello', and you're probably wondering why I've had my phone switched off."
I was just about to explain that I had indeed been wondering about that when he continued.
"I had my phone switched off because Jenny's Proper Horrible Authority for Recreational Tunnelling had done a report into my mine. They issued the report and said they would call to take me through it. So I decided to immediately go on holiday and turn my phone off.
"Not that I'm worried about what was in the report, you understand. I don't worry about things. But the report looked quite big and scary, and when I told George about my plan, he immediately said he thought going on a long holiday and turning my phone off was a great idea."
I thought about interrupting him at around this point, but he didn't seem to want to be interrupted.
"Don't interrupt me, though, because I haven't explained why I didn't say 'Hello' yet. I didn't say 'Hello' because I was so mad at George that I thought I would get straight to the point."
At this point he stopped talking, and it seemed like it might finally be OK for me to say something.
"Ah, Zargoid 5, you might be a very smart supercomputer encased in an incredibly versatile robot body, but you have got just about everything wrong here.
"You were the one who decided to go on holiday. You just explained that yourself! George may have heard about your plan and agreed with you, but he didn't trick you.
"And as for tricking me into accidentally selling him my mine, people keep saying that, but it can't be true. I mean, somebody wouldn't deliberately put a form for selling a mine into a pile of forms for selling buses. It was an accident. And my accident.
"So I don't think we can be mad with George here. In fact, George has pledged to help me drill to the centre of the Earth in my mine."
Zargoid 5 said some things at this point that were very difficult to hear due to what I can only imagine was some bad internet connectivity at his end.
I only caught the end, which sounded distinctly like, "We need to get George back."
Dennis had also been acting strangely ever since I'd started explaining everything. He had jumped up and down, then leapt off Zargoid 5's hand and started rolling around in the sand!
I don't know what Dennis had to be upset about. He had successfully completed his mission of finding Zargoid 5 on holiday.
It might have been the part where I'd explained that I would be working closely with George. Dennis and George had never really seen eye to eye on that front.
I don't know why.
Anyway, I told them to head back to my mine so we could all meet up and get on with drilling to the centre of the Earth.
It was a shame Dennis had rolled around in the sand, though, as he would now have lots of sand caught up in his fur. That might slow him down during all the drilling to the centre of the Earth we had planned.
I mentioned this on the call, but Zargoid 5 was immediately able to reassure me.
While he'd been listening to my explanation, he'd eaten a slice of robot cake, and now he held up the plate he'd been eating it from.
It was one of my own inventions...
CleanDish.
CleanDish is one of the most obvious inventions I have ever made, and it slightly surprised me to discover that nobody had invented it before me.
CleanDish is a combination dish and shampoo dispenser.
If you ever want to eat a lovely meal, or a slice of robot cake, and then wash your hair, or the fur of a sandy gerbil, then CleanDish is the invention for you.
There are so many situations where this would come in handy that it would be impossible to list them all.
So I probably won't list any of them.
I wouldn't want any of the handy situations to feel left out just because I hadn't mentioned them.
Now, I will admit that if what you've been eating has any crumbs or gravy on it, these can sometimes get mixed in with the shampoo while washing your hair.
And of course, if you aren't extremely careful, your food can end up tasting slightly of soap.
But if you avoid all of those situations, CleanDish works perfectly.
Zargoid 5 said he would use CleanDish to wash Dennis on the way over to my mine and that he was going to hurry there immediately.
Just like you should hurry to buy CleanDish!
Note to self: Perhaps I could invent a shampoo that tastes of gravy?
