Now that Dennis had headed off to find Zargoid 5 on holiday and ask him why he was on holiday and not drilling in his mine. I finally had a moment to myself to think. I mean ever since George closed the mine while I was cleaning the floor with my SoapSteps I’d been doing all sorts of new tasks like breaking into my mine, getting drenched, turning on the power to my house, drying my clothes, ironing my clothes and so on.
But, of course, cleaning the floor in my kitchen wasn’t the last task on my list. There were many more, but I had temporarily forgotten them.
In a way that was unsurprising because unlike you, I don’t have to remember them because I have ChronoRide.
ChronoRide is a combination time tracking productivity aide and motorbike. Do you simply keep your list of to do items in your head?
That’s ridiculous!
You might forget 4 or 7 of them at any one time. I simply jump on my ChronoRide and drive as quickly as I can while reviewing my to do list. Whether it is either adding items, removing items or simply reminding myself of things I need to do it is always much better to do while travelling very quickly.
Travelling quickly is what you have to do because unfortunately there is no way to view or edit the list while stationary (it’s a bit of a pain when you are stopped at traffic lights). The rest of the time it is really handy because otherwise you might be being nagged by all of those boring things you need to do while you are trying to get on with the rest of your life. This way you have to consciously choose to review the list.
So, I fired up the ChronoRide and set off at tremendous speed.
First, I reviewed the items that were already on the list:
1) Wash Kitchen Floor
2) Buy Gerbil food for Dennis
3) Drill to centre of the Earth
Now I couldn’t cross off wash kitchen floor because I had been interrupted and then run out of soap through accidentally cleaning all of the path from my house to the mine, and I hadn’t done the other two either so I would have to leave them all on.
But I needed to add a few more items on to the list
4) Buy more soap
5) Buy mine back off George
6) Talk to Zargoid 5
So, if you want to stop forgetting things you need to do then you need ChronoRide to keep track of all the time in your day while driving really fast.
Note to self: Consider making the display transparent, it might make it a little easier to steer and make notes at the same time?
