So, as we know my situation was worse than George’s.
He’d accidentally bought my mine from me, closed my mine and then had to go to an important business meeting. Now important business meetings are bad, so he was clearly having quite an unfortunate day, but think about things from my perspective…
I had accidentally sold my mine to George, and George had accidentally flicked the master switch to the power of my house (which was conveniently located in a panel inside my mine). My situation was much worse. Clearly!
And while usually having the master power switch to my house be inside my mine is convenient, it currently was a little bit less convenient than usual as I no longer owned my mine, and George had just closed it and locked it all up.
When I say it was a little bit less convenient, you probably assume I mean “a lot more inconvenient” because you are imagining this is an impossible situation to resolve. Well, it might be for you, but it isn’t for me, as I have AdheSiPass.
Have you ever wanted to sell tickets to your mine? Have you ever wanted to be able to create QR codes that you, or other people, can scan which unlock things like phones? Then you need AdheSiPass.
AdheSiPass is a roll of stickers with lots of different QR codes on them. Each sticker can be programmed to unlock whatever you attach them to.
Stick them on a phone and if you scan them with the scanner (what else are you going to scan them with?) then the phone will unlock.
Attach a different sticker to the entrance to your cinema or train station and boom you have a handy QR based ticketing system.
Now I have to admit having a roll of stickers which can unlock things whenever they are scanned (and whoever they are scanned by) could be a little bit of a security vulnerability, but all you have to do is ensure that nobody bad or suspicious gets hold of them. So, buy yours today (unless you are bad or suspicious).
All I now needed to do was issue myself a ticket to my mine, scan it in the ticket machine connected to the front door and I’d be in. And maybe I’d be able to generate some extra money by selling tours of the mine. I’m sure George wouldn’t mind. After all, it was only his mine legally.
Note to self: Perhaps add a second layer of security where people have to enter a code as well as scan the sticker. Unfortunately I'd probably have to rename it AComplicatedPass, which admittedly is much less catchy.
