A man is riding a bike down a path. The bike has a screen on the handlebars, a speech bubble is coming out of the screen showing what is on the screen and that is showing a map.

MapCycle

7th February 2026

Having used my ComuniJet to fly away from, but stay in constant contact with, Jenny from PHART (that’s the Proper Horrible Authority for Recreational Tunnelling), I decided it was time to return to my mine.

I was feeling pretty relaxed as we touched down at the airport… having answered all 4,351 questions Jenny had asked since I left. I figured the best way to get back to the mine was by bike. A long way, sure… but no problem when you’re riding a MapCycle.

Do you ever worry about getting lost while riding your bike? Of course you do. I don’t, because MapCycle knows where I’m going at every turn. In fact, it even makes the turns for me.

Now, I will admit that MapCycle sometimes gets a bit too excited and tries to add detours just so it can keep cycling a bit longer. But is that really a downside? It just loves the open road.

When I finally arrived back at the mine, I saw Jenny just coming out. I assumed she was going to welcome me back.

But then I saw something much, much worse.

She was holding a large banner. She unfurled it slowly over the mine entrance.

“CLOSED”

Jenny is standing in front of a mine with a banner over the entrance to the mine which says - Closed.

I opened my mouth to protest. I needed to ask her what was going on. But the banner said it all.

If you’ve ever needed a bike or a map, or even just a new excuse to keep moving, then buy a MapCycle today. The future of my mine may depend on it.

Note to self: Once Jenny’s gone home… if I just cut the “Closed” sign in half, is it technically reopened?
