Dennis, my pet gerbil was gone, and if my ThermoMeasurer was to be believed (and of course it was) then it was at the hands of none other than Zargoid 5’s henchman ASJIOFJNOSDNFNDSUNDS ONGFONKJGNKBUYWENJNCINSIUNDXW.
I wanted to rush to Zargoid 5’s mine as quickly as possible to check on Dennis, but there was the small, or rather not so small, problem of the giant robot sized hole in the wall of my home.
I decided to seal the hole by making a quick cement, but where was I to get the necessary ingredients? I looked around and saw some water in the pond, some sand in my sandpit, some gravel on the driveway and some limestone in the cliff that my house was built on, but what did it all add up to? I suppose in aggregate it amounted to the ingredients for a pretty good cement. Just what I needed to plug the hole in my house.
Everything was going to be easy to combine except the limestone in the cliff. All my drills, primary, backup, backup-backup, and backup-backup-backup, were currently in use at the mine. I didn’t have time to fetch one. Luckily, I didn’t have to because I was wearing DrillButton.
DrillButton is a revolutionary replacement for the normal buttons you have on the end of your shirtsleeves. Replacing the boring button, with a button that operates a drill. Just imagine that you want to tighten the bolt on your bunkbed, or loosen the screw on your enemy’s executive office chair, or drill a small quantity of limestone to create cement to repair a robot sized hole in your home. DrillButton is for you!
Now I have to admit that permanently carrying a drill built into each arm of your shirt sleeves does tend to make your arms a bit tired, and yes, you may occasionally find yourself accidentally boring holes in soft furnishings when folding your arms… but compare this to the alternative of having to drill things with your bare hands or teeth. This is much more convenient and radically saves on dental bills.
So don’t delay and get your DrillButton today! Because sometimes you need your sleeves to do more than just keep your wrists warm.
Note to self: Perhaps it would be easier to keep a bag of pre-made cement on hand for any future situations like this. Or invent CementButton™?
